club overview: restaurants and other food partners

First of all - it is FREE to you! No up-sale. No marketing fees or other profiteering. Nada

However, let's get real. We both know that there is no such thing as free, right? Obviously, your partnership account has value and there IS a cost to creating it, but we're happy to absorb the cost. It is critical to our overall charitable mission to to successfully connect with our rapidly growing network of friendly restaurants to build a strong Gratitude Club. We are very appreciative of every single one of our restaurant partners because they each add value to Club.

We aren't a for-profit company with employee expenses, so we have the luxury of doing things a bit differently. We would rather our restaurant partners save their money to do their own marketing. Further, we regularly post food reviews on our FaceBook page, so mixing honest reviews with a business model that charges marketing fees doesn't really work for us since it could easily lead to a perception of slanted reviews. Just to be clear: we pay for our food when doing reviews!

Keep it simple! Just decide what offer you want to make to our consumer Club members!

Select an offer that will show value to our Club foodie members, but that doesn't have a big negative impact on your bottom line. Many of our Partners go with a simple discount percentage and some like to craft some sort of special offer. Below are a variety of examples that can be chained together. Hopefully, you will create an offer that, while it reduces your gross dollars on a single sale, will be palatable to you because it will still be profitable and generate a sale that wouldn't have occurred otherwise!

Some sample ideas that can be combined:

  • 10% off
  • $5 off any order over $30
  • Up to four in your party
  • Monday thru Thursday
  • Monday thru Friday, 2pm to 6pm
  • Dine In only
  • Free appetizer with two adult entrees
  • Two cheeseburgers, 2 fries, 2 large drinks for only $XX.XX
  • Three topping pizza delivered for only $XX.XX

Only YOU will know what is best for your business.

Recommendation: Don't over think it!

Finally, please be willing to commit to make this or an equivalent offer for at least a year. If you wish, you'll have the opportunity to change your offer sporadically.

We have partnered with BOTH regional restaurants and nationwide vendors.

There are too many restaurants (over 100) to list here (see the separate page here on the website). We outsourced our initial run of Club app licenses to a Canadian company that specializes in providing discount "e-cards" preloaded with MANY different offers from over 50 nationwide companies such as Office Depot, Hertz, AMC and Cinemark. We then combined our area restaurant partners with the nationwide companies onto one seamless system on our smartphone app used by our consumer foodie Club members.

For your benefit, here is a snapshot image of the partial list of nationwide vendors (subject to change).

The smart phone app will display the entire list of vendors

Employee Training!

It is important that your front of house staff be trained to both RECOGNIZE the Club app and ACCEPT your offer when presented by a Club member. As you can imagine, it would be embarrassing to a consumer to happily present your offer on the Club app only to rejected by your employee. That could potentially have the effect of converting a brand new, first time customer into "never time" customer, when your goal is a happy repeat customer. Please take this seriously.

You might want to quickly create a simple "cheat" sheet to keep near the register reminding your employees to graciously accept your offer.
